An issue in search of a leader?

Radnor's Conflict Index predicts changes in control of governments based upon the gulf between the governing elite and rank-and-file voters.
We have applied the Index to the financial community - investment companies, banks, insurance companies. Based upon the current chasm between the attitudes of the financial community (Wall Street) and the people on Main Street, major changes are likely.
The only thing missing is a leader to mobilize Main Street's angry residents. The politicians who have tried to grab the issue are more emotional and less realistic than this job requires.
When a practitioner of realpolitik comes along, preaching populism and channeling anger, we may have a better idea of where the United States is headed.
